From looking on the internet and finding a recruitment agency that was specifically for filling charity positions I found my perfect Charity Job. The recruitment agency was brilliant as they always made sure that I knew about different vacancies that were available at different charities and they also helped me to prepare for interviews. The recruitment agency was really good at showing me the jobs that specifically fit my criteria and that I had the skill sets to be an ideal candidate for. This made it so much easier when being interviews and is what I think made the process of finding and getting my perfect charity job much quicker than it would have been had I been searching myself or if I had been going through a recruitment agency that dealt with all different sectors not just charity jobs. Now I am happily working in the position that the agency matched me to.

Saturday, October 15th, 2011I need a job and I am looking for resources that will help me to find an IT job in the near future, I am tired of being unemployed and I really start to make some money so that I can continue to pay the bills. I will hopefully find an IT job in the next few days, or if not, hopefully in the next week or so, because I really do need to start making money again. I guess I am pretty good with computers, I have been using them for as long as I can remember, since I was maybe like four or five years old, though it was probably the latter age, because I do not believe that I started going to school until I was five years old. I don’t think I ever used a computer before that, but I can’t be sure because that was such a long time ago.

I knew that I’d really enjoy the work at the end of the day because I’d been doing something similar for years: designing levels for video games. Believe it or not, designing 3D levels for video games is very similar to designing buildings for real life. You have to spend a lot of time making sure that they’re structurally sound, and you also have to spend a lot of time making sure that they’re pleasing to the eye. It’s quite a lot of work, either way. Of course, I used many of my video game levels when it came to finding myself an apprenticeshipand believe it or not, it was a very effective way of finding myself a job. People were impressed with my abilities as a designer, and more than willing to step in and teach me more about real buildings.
