The Good Employer with Magnetic Name Tags

Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011

What does it takes to be a good employer? Do you think you have to set high salaries and incentives to be one? I am pretty sure that your employees will see to it that you are pleased with their performance in order for them to avail of these incentives. However, that is just way too fictional in these times in the economy. You just cannot afford another drastic move just to keep things going. Why not try to encourage them through fancy looking magnetic name badges as a form of incentive instead? This is far more affordable and handy. You can order different sets of badges for different accomplishments by your employees. Have badges that are especially for diligent employees. Order another set for early birds and another for those who can beat their quota. It might not be monetary in value but a sense of importance is way better than that.

The Evolution of Promotional Products

Tuesday, September 27th, 2011

In recent years, promotional items have evolved from coffee mugs and baseball caps to mobile phone carrying cases and customized business organizers. In the early years, the majority of promotional products consisted of imprinted pens and pencils and a simple coffee mug. However, as the years went by and business needs changed these items have advanced into more sleek and sophisticated products. Recently, this included the promotional items handed out during a computer electronics conference where speaking guests and attendees all received monogrammed leather cases filled with promotional hard drives, cell phones and calculators. As a result of technology, it seems that just about anything these days can be converted into an imprinted promotional product. Other examples of newly launched promotional lines include designer glass cases, promotional art, and also imprinted sterling silver cuff links and business card holders. These type of items are generally used in marketing campaigns to attract high profile insurance and real estate customers.

To Catch Their Attention

Friday, September 9th, 2011

Using a flyer or a leaflet is a sure way to catch public attention. This will ultimately depend on how your leaflet or flyer looks, however. Your leaflet or flyer should be colorful. It should offer the reader something special, and it should be exciting enough for the reader to want to know even more. Cheap leaflet printing is not difficult to find if you know where to look. DG Print is a company in South Africa that can assist you with your printing needs. However, if you would like to go one step further and actually have a DVD made that informs the public about your product or service, you will find that DG Print will be able to print your DVDs and DVD covers too, at a very low cost. Many people like to get things for free, and if what they are receiving looks as though it may be worth their time, they will take a look.

Designing Effective Business Card Layouts

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

When we get requests for unique business cards, instead of asking our clients to change their card’s layout, we sometimes recommend that they choose one of our unique products like round corner business cards or business cards with spot uv; but, most of the time, they insist adding an image here-and-there will make their cards stand out more. When this happens, I tell them that if they want an 80% more effective business card layout, consider the idea that less is more. What I mean by that is, don’t be afraid of having empty spaces in your business card design. The balance between empty space and crowding it with words or images is another ongoing debate here in the office. Crowding graphics into such a small space can be done if done correctly. The fact is, most of our customers are not professional graphic designers or artists. A professional designer may know how to artistically jumble together tons of content but, for the most part, we always recommend to our customers that they stick to simple business cards that get their message across.

Personally, I feel photo business cards are fine in sales and marketing-type positions. A personal photo can easily make a design look tacky unless you’re creating real estate business cards. If you feel you must add your photo at least do so in an artistic and tasteful manner. Stay away from the usual centered photo that floats somewhere in the middle of the card. Experiment with various sizes of your image and even try having it bleed off to one of the edges. A simple way to get ideas for business card layouts is to look online. Doing a simple Google image search would yield tons of business card sample layouts that can be used to spark anyone’s creativity.

Choose A Narrow Niche To Market To

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

If you are just starting out in internet affiliate marketing, rather than concentrating on health generally, why don’t you simply limit your niche to muscle building, fat loss, etc.? The more tight the niche, the better your odds are of really bringing in visitors. Moreover, creating a particular niche really helps you in obtaining a better web page search engine rank which everybody knows is critical to long term success.

To become capable to market something correctly, you have to understand all there is to know concerning the item you are promoting. The more information you have at your disposal, the better you will be capable to convince individuals to buy your products.

For instance, have you ever experimented with promoting some product to an individual with out being aware what it is used for and what it really has above the other products available? Information is power. Do not underestimate this fact.
